The first time Wes Capdepon visited Charter Research in The Villages, he met with the medical director, Dr. Jeffrey Norton. When discussing Wes’ Alzheimer’s diagnosis, Dr. Norton said, “You can choose to face it or not. It’s not going to change what’s true.” Wes Capdepon took this advice seriously, soon joining a clinical trial at Charter Research. With a family history of dementia, seeing his father struggle and decline over a few short years, Wes knew he had to face his diagnosis head on.
